Contigo Ed

Authored and designed by a Teach for America alumna, Rhiannon Carabajal Killian (HOU ‘02), Contigo Ed is excited to offer free access to our on-demand course and resources – Aspiration to Action. We know that many TFA alumni continue their path in education as school counselors and advisors or are now managing teams of new education professionals. You deserve a single place where you can not only access information about advising students to and through career and college, but hear from real, live school practitioners on how this information translates into actual advising.
–Explore the career and college going process through case studies.
–Access resources to build systems and structures to manage your caseload so that every student of yours can get the differentiated advising they need.
–Take and edit ready-made, student-facing resources.

Aspiration to Action is a resource for school counselors and advisors that aims to simplify their work and make their interactions with students more meaningful. Our resources are anchored in the belief that all students are worthy of quality post-secondary options and that school counselors play a critical role in supporting students on their path to college and career readiness.

Aspiration to Action consists of 15 microcourses bundled into four categories: Aspiration, Postsecondary Pathways, College Applications, and Transition & Summer Melt. The courses contain downloadable documents, lesson plans, presentations, and handouts to support school practitioners in both group and individual advising sessions.
