
Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Information and Employment Verification Instructions for TFA Alumni & Staff
The application deadline for the limited PSLF waiver was 10/31/22. Alumni are encouraged to use the federal PSLF Help Tool to better understand their options.
If you served in the corps or have ever worked as a member of our staff, please review the instructions on our PSLF one-pager how to obtain employment certification for PSLF. Teach For America is a qualifying employer for PSLF. Our EIN is 13-3541913. Please note that current and former corps members are not considered employees of Teach For America, and should instead contact their placement school for employment verification. Current and former TFA staff members may email generalist@teachforamerica.org with a scanned copy of the employment verification form.
Teach For America is a proud member of the AmeriCorps national service network. To attain AmeriCorps service verification, login to My AmeriCorps at https://my.americorps.gov/mp/login.do. Once logged in, click on “my service letter” on the left menu, and simply enter the applicable service term, address where verification is being sent, and print.
