I, Tamika (Taa mek aa), am from Rose Hill, NC, but currently reside in Garner, NC. I have 9 years experience as an educator within Duplin, Wake, and Durham County School Systems. I have taught Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd Grade. I have served as the Grade Level Chairperson/School Improvement Team member. Currently, I am the Teaching & Learning Coach, a member of the Leadership and School Improvement Team with Durham Public School. I have a daughter who is a Senior in college at Fayetteville State University. I am also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.
