Rachel (RAY-chul) is originally from Massachusetts and attended college in Virginia. She is an alumna of Teach For America (Rio Grande Valley 2008) and has been an educator in PSJA ISD for 15 years. She was a classroom teacher for twelve years, teaching history at the middle school, high school, and dual credit levels. For the past three years, she has served as a school librarian. As a librarian, Rachel has worked with elementary, middle, and high school students. She lives in South Texas with her husband, 7-year-old daughter, and cat.
