Alyson (Ah-lih-sun) is a passionate educator with a background in teaching English and Theater to high school students. She strives to cultivate a positive and inclusive learning environment that focuses on student success and growth. Utilizing technology as a tool for engagement and support, she aims to create lasting educational experiences for students. As a Theater Teacher, Alyson has expanded the program by introducing new advanced elective theater classes and empowering students to take on leadership roles in productions. Additionally, she has contributed to the school community as a Senior Class Officer Advisor, as an AVID Site Team Member, and is a member of the school’s Bilingual Education Site Team. Alyson spends time outside of school surrounded by family, friends and her dog, Maggie. She loves reading texts of various genres but is currently hoping for some non-fiction recommendations if you have any. Alyson is committed to providing quality education and inspiring students to reach their full potential.
