Learn how to inspire and lead in your community by serving as an elected official. This program is specifically designed for those from communities that are underrepresented in political leadership and who want to advocate for educational equity as a community leader. We believe that members from underrepresented communities can bring a beneficial perspective to education policymaking and governance and that we need more diverse representation at all levels of elected office. Explore the challenges and opportunities that you may face while running for and serving in public office.
