Part of LEE’s Civic Leadership Series for Teachers, this workshop helps you stay grounded in your mission and lead with clarity.

Navigating the early years of teaching often means balancing competing priorities, high-pressure environments, and moments when your values are tested.

The Know Your Values, Navigate the Tension workshop, part of Lead with Purpose: A Civic Leadership Series for Teachers, is designed to help you stay grounded in your mission and lead with greater clarity.

In this interactive session, early career teachers and educators across the country will have the opportunity to:

  • Define your core: Identify the personal values that drive your work in the classroom.
  • Navigate difficult moments: Build practical tools for responding when your values are in tension.
  • Connect and grow: Learn more about the LEE community and the membership offerings available to support you.

About the Series:
Lead with Purpose: A Civic Leadership Series for Teachers is designed to help you strengthen the leadership skills you need inside and beyond the classroom.

From August through December 2026, LEE will offer a different leadership topic designed to help you start the school year strong.

Through practical tools, reflection, and real classroom scenarios, you will explore how to lead within your school authentically, navigate moments when values are in tension, and better understand the systems and communities that shape student learning.

You will leave with greater clarity, confidence, and purpose as you build the habits of civic leadership that support stronger classrooms, deeper relationships, and more responsive teaching.
