TFA NY & Burn In Mindset: Session 2

Teach For America New York is excited to offer a free, virtual professional development opportunity for school leaders (including assistant principals, deans, and grade level leads) from Burn-in Mindset! Burn-in Mindset, founded by Julia King Pool (Chicago ’08), trains educators in the psychology of well-being so that they can thrive at school and outside of school. To support alumni school leaders, TFA NY is offering a free virtual two-part PD!
In the first session, you will learn the science behind burnout, “burn-in,” and multiple strategies to cultivate a “burn-in mindset” for yourself and your school. In the second session, you will take these skills and develop habits to support your well-being in the upcoming school year and build systems to support the well-being of your staff and students.
Session 1 will take place on Saturday, May 31 from 10am to 12pm. Session #2 will take place on July 17. Register here!
As learning is social, feel free forward this invitation to other members of your school leadership team or other school leaders. Since you’ll plan for the year during the sessions, it is encouraged that you bring other members of your team. Both TFA alumni and non-alumni are welcome!
