[Free Webinar] There’s Been a Breach: Three Things to Keep in Mind
September 18, 2024 | Register
Broken norms and cultural breaches have the potential to be double whammies. The first hit comes with the initial offense. The second happens when you fail to address it or do so unproductively. A few breaches I’ve navigated include:
-Not following through with agreements
-Gossiping about colleagues
-Intentionally derailing the PD session
The list goes on. When these things happen, you need to be prepared to address the situation skillfully.
Spots for the live webinar are limited to the first 1000 people who log on. A webinar recording will be sent to all registrants and available to replay for one month.
The Art of Transformational Coaching (Chicago)
September 19-20, 2024 | Register
Presented by Elena Aguilar, The Art of Transformational Coaching workshop is the starting point to grow your skills as a Transformational Coach. Based on Arise: The Art of Transformational Coaching (2024), this in-person learning experience takes you from knowledge building to effective implementation.
If you want to see sustained changes in practice, your coaching must go below the surface of addressing behaviors (delivering instruction, analyzing data, etc.). Transformation requires taking a holistic approach and skillfully exploring someone’s beliefs and ways of being. This approach is what defines Transformational Coaching. Transformational Coaches also operate from two truths: that every conversation is an equity conversation, and if people are present, so are their emotions. We can learn how to have conversations that change practice by engaging and working with our emotions.
This learning experience is designed for
Coaches
New and experienced coaches, managers, teacher leaders, and mentors
Leaders
Leaders who want to use coaching strategies to support and develop the adults on their team
Educators
Educators in all positions who work in public, charter, and private schools
We offer TFA Alumni $200 off of registration for all of our learning experiences. To apply discount, use promo code tfa200 at check-out.

The Art of Coaching Emotions (Virtual)
November 19-20, 2024 |Register
Coaching emotions can be intense and intimidating. When teachers are overwhelmed, frustrated, or resistant, it can seem like you’ll never make breakthroughs to serve children. But it doesn’t have to be this way.
When you acquire knowledge and skills, coaching emotions can be satisfying, and even joyful. When you effectively coach emotions, you catalyze growth and unlock the potential for transformation.
The Art of Coaching Emotions workshop takes you deeper into the knowledge and skills introduced in Arise: The Art of Transformational Coaching. It enables you to support clients to experience their emotions as sources of wisdom that spur their growth, not as obstacles that keep them stuck.
As you learn to coach others around their emotions, you’ll also see your own emotional resilience increase. The ability to coach emotions will transform your coaching conversations and is the key to creating joyful, resilient, equitable places of learning where everyone thrives.
