The Introduction to Policy and Advocacy Careers Workshop is a virtual program that aims to demystify policy and advocacy and prepare members to explore opportunities in their region. This is a 90-min live virtual event where members will get to hear from leaders in the field. Through this experience, you will:

– Understand the varied roles and organizations that comprise the fields of policy and advocacy
– Identify the type of role best suited to your goals and interests
– Map your policy landscape and identify a local leader to job shadow

Following the workshop, LEE staff will also be available to provide follow up support and resources to participants.

This workshop will conclude with a brief info session about the Policy & Advocacy Summer Fellowship for anyone interested in gaining experience.
